The only difference from yesterday is that they added in the intrathecal methotrexate.  But Clay just pretty much breezed through and slept a lot of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joyandclay.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/02\/img_8618.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-135\" \/><figcaption>Back to Weaver 7<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you hear him say I was not a good nurse today, he might be right.  I was on several super long conference calls and did not realize that I had commandeered the only available table in the room&#8230;and he could not move for 2 hours after the intrathecal injection &#8211; had to lay flat on his back.  So when I stopped work for a minute to refresh my water, he looks over at me with these sweet little puppy dog eyes and said \u201cdo you think I could have a drink of water too?  And maybe my lunch?\u201d  \ud83d\ude44. I just thought he was peacefully resting!!!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joyandclay.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/02\/63476296219__49e38575-2f28-41b9-952d-aaf128286328.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-136\" \/><figcaption>Chemo reaction of the day.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then I got to take a short nap with him and I got matching slipper socks &#8211; so I think that\u2019s a winner of a day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joyandclay.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/02\/img_8629.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-137\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joyandclay.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/02\/img_8630.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-138\" \/><figcaption>Matching Slipper Socks!!!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The coolest thing we saw today (of course during one of my work calls) was the helicopter practicing landing on the emergency pad.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/videos.files.wordpress.com\/Klt6KbBi\/img_8628.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joyandclay.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/02\/img_8627.jpg?w=576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-141\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His WBC count is down today to 9 (from being higher than normal levels on Monday at 30) but that is all normal and means the chemo is doing what it is supposed to do.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clay also thinks he looks like Uncle Fester &#8211; but you can be the judge and vote on that.  We might need to get him some fake tan or something (he said a lightbulb to put in his mouth \ud83d\ude1c).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joyandclay.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/02\/img_8632.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-139\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prayers that tomorrow goes as well as today and that he keeps trucking along with nominal side effects.  And that he continues to keep that awesome sense of humor.  I like to tell him I married him because I love to hear him laugh (and he had a picture of himself and the lead singer of Yellowcard on his MySpace, so obviously he was cool).
