We are not past the full 10 days from the me and the girls having a COVID close contact exposure, but so far no one is showing any symptoms at all.  Marianne must have just had a stomach bug (or too much Mac and cheese &#8211; as Clay always says) because she bounced back within 24 hours.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plus I started back working out with our neighbors &#8211; and if I did not die during the two workouts I did, and I could still breathe (which is debatable) I probably don\u2019t have the VID-19.  I tried to tell Clay that the pic below was his \u201cShift\u201d workout &#8211; to ease back into cardio and strength training &#8211; but he did not believe me for some reason \ud83d\ude1c. Instead we are trying to walk around the neighborhood when it\u2019s not raining!  But he\u2019s going to be pretty jealous when I\u2019m \u201cjacked\u201d with my new muscles and he\u2019s got his scrawny chicken legs&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joyandclay.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/02\/img_8736.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-175\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our big project of the week was Bennett\u2019s presidential presentation on Richard Nixon.  Probably the only presentation on Nixon that does not use the word \u201cWatergate\u201d.  He just found a lot of other more important things that Nixon should be remembered for &#8211; like shepherding the Civil Rights Act through congress &#8211; than the one bad thing.  I am very proud of him for looking at the positive and not getting bogged down in the negative &#8211; how much better would we all be if we did the same???  The take-away that Clay and I got from the project is that we are about to start a nationwide campaign to bring back glue paste in schools and get rid of the stupid glue sticks that don\u2019t work.  We had about 20 glue sticks and had to use most of them just to get everything to stay glued down.  And we aren\u2019t sure how long it will last.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joyandclay.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/02\/img_8727.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-176\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tonight we are having a chill night &#8211; pizza and watching Scrubs!
