I am happy to report that Day 3 was a smooth as Day 2! Clay did just fine with the Chemo – just felt tired and a little “blah” all day. It was also cloudy, rainy, foggy weather all day in JAX, so that may have contributed a little bit.

The big excitement of the day is that Grace, Marianne and Avery have a dance competition this weekend in Jacksonville! So I left the hospital at 6 instead of 8 and met Maggie and the girls at the Prime Osborne Convention center on the opposite side of the river. They danced beautifully! Gold, First Place in their category and 5th place overall in the 12 year old performance duet/trios.

Again, Maggie showed how AMAZING she is – the girls all had full hair, make-up and costumes on before I even got there! She seriously rocks. They had a pretty easy drive over – except that Grace drank two large Starbucks frappes (because the lady in front of her got the wrong drink and they gave it to Grace instead of throwing it away) but then Blondie was surprised that she had to pee so much 😜. Valuable life lesson learned yesterday about travel and caffeine.

Oh – and when we got back to the hotel, we discovered that we are sharing our hotel with the Clemson Tigers lady’s softball team!

Pray today’s chemo is smooth! I’ll be at the hospital and then at dance, then hospital, then dance, and on and on!!!

Thank you for the update! Stay strong and keep going.
God has blessed you greatly with Maggie. Glad you were able to see Grace, Mari, and Avery dance and that chemo was smooth sailing. Miss you all.
