Thank you to everyone who bought a shirt and posted your picture today on Facebook or Instagram. Clay was overwhelmed with the love and support!!! He kept saying “who would want my face on a t-shirt” and I said “everyone!”.

We are settled in at home. Marianne apparently has a stomach bug, accompanied by a low grade fever, and we found out that the girls and I were exposed to COVID over the weekend at the dance competition. But, we have no symptoms, and were only around the positive people for short bursts at a time.

Tonight – Bennett and I are camping out in the living room, the girls are staying upstairs, and Clay is living it up in the bedroom all alone (maybe with the dogs). I bet he still sleeps on the very edge of the bed – proof that I don’t kick him off every night! And Bennett has been walking around spraying Lysol and Clorox wiping everything down with gloves and a mask 😬

Clay also got to use his first $5,800 miracle Neulasta shot today – I said “why are you reading the directions, you know how to give yourself a shot” and he replied “because it is expensive – I don’t want to mess anything up!” This should kick those WBC’s into high gear!!!

We finished the evening watching an awesome Rugby movie – Forever Strong. I am an All Blacks Fan – and love all things Rugby! So Clay did a little Haka Against Lymphoma – so it’s probably pretty scared right now.

All jokes aside – Please pray specifically tonight that even if the kids and I have managed to contract COVID and/or some other crazy virus 🦠 that we have not given it (and will not give it) to Clay. Chemo puts every little cough or sore throat into a whole new perspective! Love you all!!! Kia Kaha! (Stay strong for you non-Maori folks).
